Beautiful architecture complemented the serene environment outside of metro St Louis. The location was peaceful, and the cleanliness of the hotel was noteworthy. On the downside, the bed was too soft for comfort, reminiscent of a marshmallow, leading to disrupted sleep. A dated decor and insufficient breakfast options detracted from the experience, especially with the need for better towel service. A few modern upgrades could elevate the overall stay.

I appreciated the clean and convenient king room with a surprisingly comfy pull-out sofa, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring nearby Bluff View Trail, which is just under 4 km away, and enjoying a fresh breakfast at the cozy Sunny Street Cafe only a short walk from the hotel.

We enjoyed our six-night stay in the King Suite with Spa Bath. The staff was friendly, and the location offered fantastic nearby eateries. The hot tub experience was marred initially by children, but our final night made it worth the wait. Pro tip, check the pool's chemical levels before diving in.

Our group had an awesome time! We hit up Six Flags for some thrilling rides and then relaxed at the nearby state park. The rooms were super comfy, and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was a nice bonus to start the day. Just a heads up, the beds were a bit high for some of us, but we managed. Overall, a fantastic stay!
